topic says it all my side stand spring fell off and the replacement parts are on back order. If anyone has the needed parts please contact me. Someone had but I cannot seem to get in touch with them now. As of now I am going ghetto style with a bungie cord.  | ||

I bought mine from a guy in Australia - arrived within 5 days.. It was http://srwmoto.com.au/ and the service was amazing. Parts were $29 (Australian) and shipping was $50 but it did arrive really quickly. I'll have a spare set when mine arrive, it's been about 4 weeks now... | ||

Check you local breakers for side stand springs off something else. I'm sure there is another that will work. Might even be a spring at the hardware store! | ||

Harley sucks. They don't care about us anymore. I ordered a set of white bodywork two months ago and it still isn't here. I checked with LSHD and they said it will be another month. | ||

For the sidestand, check with Erik Buell Racing. They had a bunch of sidestand assemblies on their yardsale tables yesterday at the homecoming open-house-type-thing. | ||

6 years left,Why dont they make a stock, at least 5,000 of each normal war and tare/wreck parts? Great time for someone who can afford the over-head on parts, try and get the contract of at least one item. Have that item mass produced and of course make a profit in the long run. If there is a patent and no one else can make that part for Harley Davison/Buell it seems we as a group should start a class action law suit! We bought these Buells or are still in the process of paying them off and should be able to get ANY part we need! That part should be available to order and sent out within one business day | ||

I am not trying to be lazy but does anyone know the part numbers so I can send them to Erik Buell Racing. Harley may not care but Erik Buell Racing does someone contacted me to offer help from there. I can't say how much I appreciated that effort. | ||

I ordered some sets in when I saw there was a problem so that buellers here wouldn't have to wait 3 weeks to get them ordered in. I've got 4 sets in stock but it costs a lot in postage to send international. The parts you need are L0175.1AM - retaining clip L0175.3AM - retaining clip L0198.1AMA - pin L0203.1AMD - Spring extension plate L1204.1AM - Sidestand spring Those are 2010 part numbers. All but the first clip are revised from 2008/2009. The second clip seems to have been added. The 2010 sidestand is the same part number as the 2010 so these look like the supersede the old part numbers. |
