I am also glad to hear that you are okay. Had I been in your shoes while she was complaining, I don’t think it would have ended well. I am curious to know how you reacted to the incident. Did you hit her broadside or have time to lay it down and slide into her? I am also curious to know what gear you were wearing and how well it protected you? |

Good to hear! Your lucky bro. That exact situation happened to me in Dec. It was either drive through his door or shoot left to try and miss. Two rods in each bone of my right leg, broken wrist and a totaled bike for me! |

Will the bike go in and out of gear? This was something my Dad and brother found on mine when trying to get it into the back of a pickup at the accident scene. If it hit the ground hard enough you could have jacked the transmission up. |

Glad to hear you're ok too! I have seen as many as five cars do that (turn across another lane to turn) in a five mile commute here in northern Virginia/DC/Maryland. The rule is that if they are in the left passing lane and moving fast, they are probably about to turn right across three or more lanes (or vice versa). I've gotten to the point that I am relieved when I see a Virginia State Trooper. Pretty sorry state of affairs. I think in the greater DC metropolitan area, it has become cool to drive like a fool. |

Happened to me just 2 days ago. The driver said I saw you at the corner and made eye contact but said he GUESSES that I was still at the corner cause he made the turn anyway. Luckily I was only going 15 to 20 mph and stayed up. Glad to hear you are fine though. On a side note I put back on my D&D exhaust hopefully people should be able to hear at least it and look twice to see what the hell is that noise. |

That's because she was in her own little world doing god knows what. The guy who hit me TOLD me he was spaced out thinking about his next job. He then tried to pacify the situation by telling me he was drug years ago by a car after it hit him on his bike. Really?! It sucks not being able to ride. Thank God you physically can. I'm screwed out of a healthy leg and a bike for a while... Get what you can from her! Every penny counts! |
