I have had a 97 M2 cyclone, then the 04 XB12R (that I really miss) sold the 04 to be able to get 08 1125R. Thank goodness for business improvements so I took an 03 XB9s in on trade at work the other day with only 7100 mile the poor thing had been miss treated and not been taken care of. So I have clean her up and detail her put all new body work on her freshened up the fluids. Now all I need to find is an 04-07 XB12R and uly XT and all will be right with the world. Sorry just wanted to share |

Awesome... neglected bikes need love too! I just had to accommodate the Mrs. Realassmikeg. Seems she wasn't too happy I bought I bike she coudn't ride on. So I made her go pick one out with me. I'll be picking it up on Thursday. It's a uuuummm (not a Buell) sorry. Still I got another bike out of the deal! :0 |

XB9 Lightnings Rock! I have a 2007 MV Agusta F4 1000R, a 2009 1125R and this carbon-fiber bejewelled badass: Wanna know which one is the best daily ride? NOTHING turns as tight as this 52-inch wheelbase little monster. Speaking of Monsters, I've always considered the XB Lightnings the American version of Ducati's signature Monster. I was thinking of a Ducati and came across this and honestly thought this had way more character than any Monster. Another picture of it in action at Deal's Gap a couple years ago: Jeff |

I love my 1125R, too. But when I ran across a great deal on an '03 XB9S I had to jump on it. I'm almost finished getting all my farkles installed. At 55+ mpg it has quickly become my daily driver. |

Endoman, I've had a 9s since they first came out in 03 and I picked up my 1125R in the fire sale last fall. It's really fun switching back to the 9s after riding the 1125r for a few day and the 9 is great for blasting around town on. The salesman who sold me my 1125 told me that I would get tired of the 9 but I don't think so. They're different enough to keep em both. Plus I have a spare when one is away at the doctor. |
