Anyone notice a weave at over 100mph that gets worse progressively as speed increases above 100? It is worse still in windy conditions. Handle bars start to shake too. Bike has perfect wheel bearings, tyres and steering head adjustment and it only does it with the lowers attached. Anyone having the same?? |

tank slap as you accelerate? I just lean on over the tank. |

I would tend to think its something with your bike specifically. Maybe air is getting in/under one of the fairings where it shouldn't? Did you move the right side out farther to keep it off of the exhaust? |

I don't have that problem at all. In fact I feel the bike resists buffetting from crosswinds better with the fairings. I also get a bit better knee tuck behind the fairing. I've run the bike up over 150 on occasion and have been known to cruise the ton for miles at a time in the right locale...I'd make sure nothing is loose and flexing or flapping about. |

I've got the slightly-melted-fairing problem, and the occasional-awol-fairing-bolt problem, but although I am mostly bald, I definitely don't have a weave. |

I got speed wobbles at about 170kph. Other friends have it at speeds varying from 160 - 200kph. It seems worse of the the right is spaced out to get some exhaust clearance. Mine kept coming loose all the time. The brackets don't lock into the 2010 engine cases the way they did on the 2008. Coming loose may be be part of the problem. I've taken it off for the moment. I think a bellypan if there ever is one would fix it. |

Thank you all for the input. I will take them of and see if its different. I had two Michelin Road Pilot IIs fitted and this is the only major change recently. So it is now a process of elimination. I have a XB12R an I can even swop front wheels later on if I cannot find anything obvious!! |

Never had this problem with my lowers. Dunno what else to tell ya except I'd take them off and see if it continues. If it does then it's not the lowers. |
