I contacted Howorkclutch and I believe the problem is sorted now. Quote "Power delivery is much smoother and engine temperature is lower." |

Trafford/Howworkclutch - So what was the fix? I still have some surging in the 3000RPM range even after the latest flash. Was going to do some data logging this weekend to see if I could pinpoint something in the spark advance or fuel table. |

Unfortunately with any factory flash, they have to make the bike meet EPA requirements, so 3000 is going to have some surge. The newer flashes do help, but the ultimate solution is a Erik Buell Racing Race ECM. |

Simply a reworked EPR. Mainly IAC control areas. |

Erik Buell Racing Race ECM is what you need. Howorkclutch had a problem which I helped fix. Otherwise use Fuel Solutions or Erik Buell Racing |

Thanks Easy....hope you had a great time in the U.S. I'm not sure if I can make it tomorrow. I have friends over from the U.K. It may have to wait until next weekend. Congratulations on getting Fuelsolutions.nl up and running. |

Just wanted to post a quick follow-up... Taffords changes helped a great deal. The bike still demands finesse, but its consistent now. I can adapt to this. |
