Last night my wife and I went for ride to just get outof the house. 15 minutes into the ride I broad side a deer at 60 mph. Threw both of us through the air. I have a little road rash and a very sore back. My wife is not as lucky. She is in the ICU at the MED badly injured. Please be careful and watch for ••••••• deer She has many small broken bones in her back, broken hip, collar bone and ribs. She has a puncture wound in her shoulder with bad road rash and a small amount of bleeding on her brain. She is going to have to remain in the ICU until the bleeding goes away. This is enough for me. I'm hanging up my helmet. If it was me in the room I'd probably recover and get right back on. Her getting hurt this bad and me being able to walk away practicaly in injured makes me sick. I know that if I were to ride again everytime I leave the house she would be a nervous wreck. Thank everyone for your best wishes I am not one much for prayer either but it is still very kind of everyone Jake99Buell |

Very sorry to hear about your wife. I can relate to what you're saying - It's harder when it is someone you love instead of yourself. Here's hoping for a full recovery for your wife ... Looks like it might take awhile, so take good care of her! Mike |

I have accepted Christ as my savior and do believe in the power of prayer. I have a compelling story of what opened my heart and would be glad to share it with you if you have any interest. Regardless, my wife, my children, and I will include you and your wife in our prayers. Sincerely, Chris |

Just asked my grams to put you guys on her prayer chain, wishing the speediest and most complete recovery for your wife. Don't hang up the helmet just yet, she might just surprise you and want to go for a ride when she recovers. |
