My loaner bags are a little bigger than the Buell branded bags (RKA or something like that). If she wants the more contoured look she might be better off with your's. Mine are the big square ones hanging on the outside of the pile in my profile pic. |

okay. wasn't sure what you had extra of. either way she'll be contacting one of us. couse then she could just ride down to the area here and we could attach both sets of bags to her bike. wouldn't need her dufflebag then. I think I'll stop now before I get her mad at me. |

Depending on when you got your S3...Buell 'may' replace them under 'goodwill'. They replaced mine after cracking but it was at least a year ago. As always...start with your dealership so they can contact Buell (HD) DAve |

Bomber, You're up. I dug through the storage and ripped apart the place and came up bagless. Where ever I stored those saddlebags I hid them well or buried them deep, couldn't find them or the box they were stored in. Sorry Charlotte. We've got a BRAG meeting in the 12th, if nothing gets to you before then I can ask at the meeting. We'll also have a lot more of the house boxed up for the move by then so maybe I'll uncover the secret hiding place in the process. Mike(buried in boxes)J

JammerJohn, If you aren't concerned with how the saddlebags appear on the INSIDE, they are quite repairable. I recently repaired 2 sets of bags (mine, and Reindogs) by fiberglassing the inside of the bag inners. I took lots of pictures and planned on writing a short article for posting here. We just returned from SPLASH, and we used the repaired bags on that trip. I rode the bike with the saddlebags mounted on many miles of the roughest of dirt roads, I half expected it to shake the bags to pieces. I'm happy to report that the repair held up with no issues whatsoever. Gimme a couple days to write the article. Al |

Headlight brackets that have separate/detachable fly screen mounts and will fit inverted forks. I believe a 98 S1 will work. Its for a 2001 X1. |

"Headlight brackets that have separate/detachable fly screen mounts and will fit inverted forks. I believe a 98 S1 will work. Its for a 2001 X1." Let me be more specific. Its for a 2001 X1 that has had the flyscreen removed, therefore I want brackets that do not have flyscreen mounts as an integral part of the brackets. |

I believe they used the same bracket on the X1 & S1. |
