Hi all, am picking up my new 2010 1125 CR in a week and was wondering if any of you have any advice on what I should expect from my dealership? They're charging me a reasonable amount of $$$ for pre-delivery and I expect all recalls/tweaks to be sorted by the time I pick it up. I'm just not too sure what I should be looking out for... |

Try to avoid inadvertant wheelies pulling out of the parking lot at the dealer. |

Thanks Daniii, I'll try and keep both wheels planted on the ground. May have to smoke the rear tire a little to get rid of the new tire wax Anyway, do the 2010 models have the fuel overflow and clutch weep problems? Anything else to look out for? I would like my dealership to sort out all these issues up front. |

Yes my advise would be have them check the antifreeze and to load test the battery for you and to check to see if updates are available. |

The 2010 bikes should have the stator harness installed already with the latest flash. 2010 bikes have the high bar kit already. Having them verify the coolant, oil level, and tire pressure would be all that you should need. |

my 2010CR lost its clutch fluid after 2500 miles another guy lost his at just under 4000. there was no sign of leakage anywhere behind the puck or elsewhere. dealer has the bike and is replacing all the seals. apart from that no problems. |

See if they will put on the California fuel capture canister for you. Hopefully they can warranty it. |

Thanks for your input guys. I'll hit them up with the cali can. I hope they know what it's all about and how to fit it! What about the clutch weep? Is that a warranty job as well? |

the clutch on mine is being sorted under warranty. dealer is still waiting for some parts, but i have not had much feedback about the problem. somewhere in the slave cylinder something is allowing fluid to leak away without it being seen. only thing i have been told is that the fluid cannot get into the engine oil. apart from that i have no problems and this is an awesome bike. enjoy (Message edited by Mtch on June 06, 2010) |

+2 on the Cali canister. I went to two charity events recently, and no longer had to explain to bystanders why my bike leaked fuel at the rear peg ... Plus the wife is happy! Congrats on scoring a new CR - Enjoy. Mike |

The p/n for the cali canister is 27042-84A you also need: P0066.1AM P0067.1AM Q0300.4A8 The first two p/n's are new hoses, the cali can uses different hoses, and the third p/n is a clamp. |

You will need the stator harness upgrade done as well. Norrie. |
