... was spent at the track outside of willows, california at thunderhill raceway excellent track with some seriously nutty turns and elevation changes. i was the only buell there, which is nothing new to me for track days. apparently the west coast just doesnt see a lot of them. i wish i could ride and pit with some people that knows how to ride an 1125 at the tracks i ride, so i can start getting bike specific pointers. my pace is about par for my experience, but i have a lot to work on with body positioning if i want to get faster. my knee pucks are still brand new. i suck oh well. i could stand to have a LOT of just general instruction before i need to learn anything unique about MY bike. anyways, the weather couldnt have been better, and my race tires treat me right. i rode b group all day. generally im passing people in b group about 70% of the time, and getting passed 30%. this last weekend it was more like getting passed 95% of the time and only passing 5% of my group. either i was going slow enough to put my kick stand down, i was totally out of my group, i am getting worse, i forgot where the throttle was, OR there were just some really fast suckers in b group!! i was almost thinking we could almost stand to have a badweb track day pic thread... except that the forum software would just eat it in no time- destined for the archives!!
