That gloss black paint is gorgeous, it it stock? I like the front pulley too. |

Ah, well, I simply liked the Hypercharger. Tastes differ sometimes. Sadly my X1 motor spoiler and the rear wheel fender currently have a little paint damage. That's how it should look actually, minus the large mirrors and the huge license plate holder, which have been replaced by much smaller solutions: The paintwork is "Blazing Orange" for the frame and "Carbon Black" for the plastic pieces. |

Looks sharp, well done. The orange race stripes are a nice touch. Thanks for the info on the paint. Ride safe! |

The wheels have been "Stardust Silver" from the factory. I had them polished and painted with a color matching the frame of the bike. |

Gnutlethal, wow, that's nice. Only comment is what about a flat-black swingarm? It would balance with the grips, heat shield and instrument cups (can't tell about the headlight shell.) |

hi Gnutlethal, noticed you have no lock plate on your modded front pulley, how do you lock it ??? |

Actually I once had a lock plate right there, where it belongs to according to the factory manual. But the guy in Germany, who fixed my motor after it grenaded a second time and who is the Buell luminary here in Germany(www.luckyhands.de) told me, that it isn't actually needed. And in accordance with Eriks' law of reduced mass, he simply did away with it. Loctite red is now holding the central nut and the last 18k km (11k miles) it didn't fail me once. Concerning the swingarm, you are quite right. If it wasn't such a hassle to get the bike and motor suspended, I'd have already done it. But so far I'm waiting till the rear isolators are shot to dismember the bike again. |

Yer missing the Pegasus timing cover (can't see the clutch cover, but deduce from the math it's not a Pegasus either), the axle covers, and the swingarm bolt inserts, and the tank bag. |

Dammit Wilson...that's EXACTLY what I'm in the process of doing with mine! Except I don't have the orange frame (yet). But, I'm working on making my '01 M2L (volcano gray, but with black frame and aluminum Castalloys) into an M2 with S3 suspension and trees; Buell Crossroads-style clip-on bars; Buell race exhaust and intake; Pro-series seat; and a couple other little farkles. Before:
...and "after" is coming soon What integrated taillight did you use? How is it for brightness? |

Here's a more recent one. 99% done. I hear in just one hour and half you have just destroyed my two year long search for an S3 Volcano Grey fender! Anyways, I have the Motodynamic taillight but want to get the Heavy Cycles LED light from Al at some point. There is some serious work on those and they are BRIGHT as hell. Joe, Did you miss my rebuild thread too? LOL... |

Destroyed your search? How so?? Here's today's progress. Buell pro-series pseudo-clipon bars (crossroads style) with bar-end mirrors. Buell race exhaust. Buell race intake. LSL frame sliders. Trimmed plate bracket. Buell pro-series seat. Turn signal delete (for now). Still needs jetted...but since I pulled the knob right off the choke when I went to start it, I figured I'd wait till I swap out the choke cable before I rejet. lol. I also need a race header mounting shoe. for the Y bracket. Right now...I have it cheesed up and I won't get into how I did it
