I just bought and installed a set of barend weights from Vibranator.com on my cr with the accessory high bar. They manufacture ones specifically for the cr. They are black powder coat, nice looking, great quality and most importantly, do a fantastic job at reducing the vibes coming through the bars. I recommend them whole heartedly. Here's a pic.

Ditto on that! I made a modified CR bar setup for my 1125r and with the stock cr high bars these really cut the vibes!

How do you get the stock ones out?

Pull. Twist. Rip. Depends on if you want them usable afterwards.

I gotta get those, didn't know they came in black. I don't even have bar ends. My bike is an '08 that was converted to high bars by the dealer. He added comfort grips and deleted the bar ends I guess.

I filled my Rizoma bars with #9 lead shot. It didn't take much and the vibration is gone. I have Oberon bar end mirrors, so the above option is out for me.

Throttlemeisters. Bar-end weights AND a throttle lock to give your right hand a break on those long trips. Love things that serve more than one purpose.

Just ordered the Vibranators. I hope I can just cut the ends off my comfort grips and slide these babies in!

I've seen guys in the past use compressed air on one bar end to shoot the temporarily plugged grip off the other side of bar, and the same for the second grip by sealing the first side where the compressor hose would now be with a rag or some rubber, etc.

I used an exacto knife and cut along the circle divot that is already there. The rubber is fairly thick, so take your time. You may have to trim some of the throttle end off so it doesn't rub against the bar end and restrict movement.

Freeze it and use a hole-saw from the inside.
