ok, anyone who has some significant miles on their tube farkle; have you had any issues with the plastic brackets on the tubes breaking? any issues with the caps coming loose? any issues with them not being supported around the middle? i am getting ready for homecoming, i am mounting two tubes behind the side bags for gas bottles, and one on the back behind the license plate for something else. i have the two behind the bags mounted with Adel clamps, they seem fairly stable, but just a bit wobbly. the one on the back i mounted to the two bolts that connect the arced brace between the side bag brackets. thanks for any input. |

I have thousands of miles on now, with no problems. I have two behind the racks, and two on the tail. Used electrical clamps and zip ties behind the racks. Made a bracket for the top part on one of the tail tubes, so I did not have to bend/pull on the arch piece. The bracket comes off the bolt on one end of the arch, and comes in toward the middle; it then "T's", so I can use two of the three top bolt holes. It also centers the tube better. Zip tied the whole end to other bolt side. Has worked great. The fourth one I bolted to the two screws under the licience plate. The metal "frame" piece will slide down giving you more room. My favorite farkle by far! Lids have stated tight so far. Lots of threads showing how to mount up, have fun |

Have mine mounted under the bags. Ridden a bit with them. In the rain for about 60 miles. Cap stayed on, inside of bags stayed dry. |

I've got one mounted to the rear of one of my Pelican bags with a liter of fuel. Been there for many thousands of miles, no issues. Very sturdy items, a real steal for what they cost. |
