It's most likely considered "intellectual property" of Harley Davidson and will be destroyed. Or warehoused. However, engineers who have "engineered" it can take what they've learned and expand upon it. I'm guessing. | ||

Its a nice bike but Damn, does Erik like those slimline and very uncomfortable seats? Because the seat on my R sucks and looking at the seat on this bike make my ass cringe! The bike is pretty nice though but I would love to see it in black or a blood red. | ||

Father, it's a sport bike. Most sport bikes don't have a la-z-boy for a seat, In fact, the 1125 has a cushier seat than most IMO. | ||

Seats are the least of my concern on a bike when I ride it... for sport. However; if I planned on touring on this particular bike I might look into all sorts of other modifications and features. At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself...is the cost of modification really worth the effort? Using a machine that appears to be aimed for the world racing scene to tour....nah. Some will argue, but I tend to want to ride power and efficiency and not style. Function over form, form over function. Etc, etc... | ||

guys, the bike picture here is an engineering sample of the barracuda 2. Only 90% complete. I am sure that they were going to put a real seat on it. You can also see in the picture that i posted that the lower faring is rubbing the kickstand. | ||

If you have 12 small pictures...right click on your desktop (not on any icons), select properties. There's a dropdown that I'm betting will be showing "tile". Drop it down, pick either "stretch" or "center". Center will likely be one small pic in the middle. Stretch might put it out of proportion...but it'll be full size. | ||

Just take a look at the seat request list and you will get an idea of how important it is to many of us who love to ride this bike for several hours at a time. There are many comments about this rock hard seat and as matter of my opinion, there are a ton of other bikes our there that have a much thicker cushion on their bikes. Bikes like the CBR 1000, Suzuki GSXr, and other. Now don't misunderstand what I am saying, I love my R and place it above most other bikes, but the seat sucks! Its the best bike ergonomically that I have ridden but yeah, the seat sucks! | ||

IF there isn't any future plans to go back into production of what would have been...then why not... Sell these individual bits for the outsiders to experiment on their "race" bikes? Some bits already are but why not ALL of them!  Light block off plates wouldn't be too hard to make that fairing kit a "race" part. | ||
