For Sale: Buell X1 landspeed racing bike This has been an outstanding bike for me. It runs hard and goes straight. It is completely SCTA & ECTA legal and ready to run. I just went through the chassis to freshen up everything – wheel bearings, chain, wiring harness, etc. This bike still has lots of record setting potential at Bonneville and Maxton. This could also be converted into a fun weekend warrior drag bike. I have ran 10.6 @126 in the quarter with no riding skill or tuning. Current set up to run A-PG/PF 1650, although I have not ran it in these classes. Ran at World of Speed in 2007 – Holds SCTA/BNI APS-PG 1650 record at 172.5 mph Ran at Maxton in 2006, 07, 08, 09 - Holds 11 ECTA records Best speed is 175 at Maxton with a small shot of nitrous 100” 4x4 S&S Complete engine with B1 race heads, 12.7:1 CR, .600 S&S cams, 140+HP on gas Heads and pistons only have 11 Maxton runs on them S&S D carb with 1 Thunderjet WEGO wide band O2 sensor with RPM data logging Nitrous Express wet nitrous system installed and working well, 30-70 HP jets, 2 bottles +4” swing arm with custom Works Performance Shock Rebuilt front forks with stiffer springs World Wide Bearing ceramic wheel bearings EBC front brake rotor Sale includes ECTA & SCTA log books, calculation spreadsheet, spare heads and cylinders + misc other parts.
