After a couple of rides, I can say it does what is intended. Only tested up to 90 mph though. The air hits my upper chest area and the helmet is in clear air.
The taller shield I posted earlier gets all the air off my chest, and I can ride comfortably with the shield up, but there is more turbulence.
It comes off quickly (Looks like the 4 hook and loop buttons work pretty well. We will see over time.
I suspect the taller shield will be better for a sport touring application, and the shorter for shorter rides. I can switch in about 5 minutes.
