Your ad is mistaken, it said $10k for an 1125R garage ornament, you must of meant to type in your Harley. |

"Rather ride my Harley"? Last time I checked a Buell WAS a Harley, at least his year Buell. How can you even know if you like a bike after 280 miles? He could have picked a better choice of words for our group, anyone should know us Buell folks arn't exactly hardly fans, at all. Not rocket science. I REALLY want to let loose but... DR DR |

Well it looks like he registered today & posted today, so we need to cut him some slack. OP, search around a little on pricing, I know we all hope you get as much as possible as it helps the value for all of us, but from what I've seen you may have a problem getting more than $6X00 for it. But good luck on the sale & ride safe. |

Ouch, I figured the value of used 1125Rs was going up at least compared to the fire sale prices. If retail is $6005, then that doesn't seem to be the case, at least not yet. |

He needs to sell for less than $6k if he's serious. The economy sucks and there are still plenty of bikes out there. But hey, it's his bike he can mark it for whatever he wants. When the phone doesn't ring and he's still sitting on it in the Fall he'll know. |

Why all the negativty.. if he asks 10k and gets it it is good for the rest of us who own these bikes, that means value is going up. i agree the price is optimistic, but who knows..... good luck on the sale |

The guy is allowed to try and sell his bike for whatever price he wants. If it doesn't sell, whatever. |

I paid $11,500 for mine 2 years ago (well, 13,000 if you include taxes and all) so, I hope he gets what he wants for it DAMN-IT! lol Personally, I still feel I paid a damn good price for what I got. I love my 1125r and being a Harley owner as well, I prefer my Buell. The only negative thing is, the seat sucks! They could have put a few more ounces of foam in there for my ass but I won't complain too much about it........ |

}Please re read 1st post I did sorry if the responses seemed harsh, I think it was just the initial shock. Obviously it's your bike and you can ask whatever you like for it and I am sure most people wish you luck with the sale. |

HARSH This was one I got private You picked the wrong site to say you like your hardley better than a 1125r. Buellers DESPISE hd, or anyone that likes them, they screwed Eric Buell way bad, and the Buell brand in general. BTW, you may want to do some research, NEW 1125r's are still available for less than 7k. A used one is at best 5k at this point. Have fun on your 30's technology, unreliable, slow, loud, bad breaking POS. Too bad you have a exallent bike in that 1125r, with some mods it can be VERY comfortable, taller bars, lower seat, lower pegs and a ECM upgrade. Never mind you don't deserve the 1125r, please sell it to some one that doesn't ride in a beanie helmet (or less) ass-less chaps and a vest. This is HARSH |

What's wrong with ass-less chaps? OP is female...that's always a flattering look in my opinion To the OP: just in case there was any confusion about the issue this is a Buell Aficionado Bulletin Board. The majority of the active members will be inclined to view any posts that put their favored brand in a bad light with less enthusiasm than you may have expected. Some of them might even call the OP a Moron. Buells are not for everybody. Neither are Harleys. Figure out what you enjoy and don't worry about what some flamers post on an obscure corner of the internet. (Message edited by mountainstorm on June 03, 2010) |
