» Primary case wont go back on by 1/4 inch

Im having trouble getting the primary case to go back on. Ive lifted the chain up to make sure that its sitting on the primary adjuster but it just wont sit flush up against the engine. Its off by about 1/4 of an inch. Any ideas?

. Forget about it. I had put the oil seal back onto the shaft so I wouldn't loose it. All is good now.
