Just back from the ARC SportBike class. What a great class -- I highly recommend it. But my check engine light came on at as soon as we started the first course, and it started riding like crap.

And my warranty is up when? Oh....tomorrow!!! Guess the warranty "kill clock" was a couple days off -- lol!

Called AD Farrow moments ago and they opened a work order with today's date to get it under warranty. Whew!!

I'll be taking it in to Mitch @ Northstar tomorrow.

Question -- should I take off the breather bypass and put it back to stock before I take it in? Does anyone think that's going to be a problem if I leave it on?

got rid of my factory head lights. About 2 yrs ago they were called death ray. they are Sol tek light systems Fuego 4" HID 45w and 100w Halogen to night I hope I get to try them out.

Who is going to Homecoming?

The reason I ask, there is group of Buellers coming up from NC and staying in Cincy on the 16Th.
Then heading the rest of the way to East Troy on Thursday.
They would like to know if anyone from here would like to meet up with them along the way.
Looking at the map, it looks like Indy would be the best place to catch up with them.

I think I am going to try to hook up with them so if anyone else wants to do the same, let me know.
We can meet at the Pilot gas station on Wilson and 70 as soon as we figure out what time we can all get to Indy

Talked with service today about my bike. They took a look at it this morning and determined that it's the exhaust valve actuator.

5-7 days waiting now on the part.

Well, at least it's raining most of this week so I'm not out too much riding. :-/

It's amazing the difference a day can make....sad news is that Carlos and Mark will not be heading to Homecoming after all. Carlos just found out that the plant manager will be out of the country for work...guess who's the acting plant manager...yep, Carlos. Can't have both of them out at the same time. Mark has also had a run of bad luck with bikes lately. They are both bummed, but will head to the mountains to "cut mountain grass" soon.

Not sure what Oldog and Prior's plans are.

Well I found a ride, if all goes well I will be the proud owner of a 2007 Triumph Daytona 675... Will not compare to my 1125, but I love the way it rides and it looks awesome.

Got my bike back today, all fixed under warranty on the very last day...woot!!

They even put on the latest ECM flash for me under the warranty still...flash #M31US282.

Just rode it back straight from Northstar, and it's still riding a bit poopy. The latest ECM flash is definitely different. the fan cycle changes are very apparent and even my RPM's have dropped.

I think they simply didn't zero out my TPS, which needs to be done after the ECM is messed with.

I'll do that in a little bit and that *should* smooth her back out.

TPS reset and an easy 8-miles at 3k RPM seems to have done the trick.

After that, *close* to red-lined her a few times 2nd-4th gear, and she started running like a stuck pig once again!! No more hiccups or stuttering. :-)

don't know what anyone up there is doing on saturday, but if you want to hang out with the aussies, we'll be doing lunch after the iron pony run and then check out the ama museum after that. sorry for the late notice but was trying to come up with a lunch plan and i think me mum made it for me. but should be plenty of food. if not, i'll go get more. no times set so it's all up in the air at this point.
