Damn, that is one sweet looking exhaust! If I still owned an 1125 and didn't care about noise levels....you'd have my money. Idle sounds badass! |

I'm pretty much sold on this one but maybe a 4 o'clock slash tip. Did you ever get any AFR reading on this setup? and your running a stock ECM? |

I'm still using the stock ecm, wideband shows between 14:1 and 16:1 at cruise, 12.5:1 at WOT. I have the AFV's locked at 116/110. I haven't had time to really mess with tuning yet. I did drop the idle some and enriched the WOT setting another 5% over what it was stock. Nothing else so far, but everyone who's bought a pipe from me and also got the Erik Buell Racing ecm has stated that it's a monster as well as it's very smooth on the bottom end. There is a limit on how far the tips can be angled due to the belt and belt guard. I also had the RT-1 and RT-3 shipped to Erik Buell Racing for testing/tuning so they can make a custom map. I'm figuring I'll buy one myself, I just haven't done it yet. All reports so far indicate that it is definitely a worthwhile purchase, especially at the $250 they want for it. Think about it, how often do you get a custom made map from a race company for a hand made exhaust? I'd bet not very often, so I'll jump on it. I'll probably either send this one to them also or take it by personally during the HC event in June. At this point I don't have any dyno data on the race ecm and any of my pipes. I'm waiting on the results just like everyone else. I know what it does with the stock ecm and what it's capable of, now I want to see the race ecm results. |

Well, I love the damn thing. I also see nobody had posted a suggested price - so here goes. If the RT-3 goes for $549.00, I suggest the RT-4 go for $749.00 - what do you prefer? Cash, check, paypal....?? |

Just weighed it, 12.5 lbs, so the RT-4 is a pig.

How much does the RT-3 come in at weight wise? |

Any idea on the db levels for the RT-3 vs RT-4? |

No, but the RT-3 sounds a little louder to me. |

D_adams, count me in on the RT-4. I'm convinced. That has to be the sweetest sounding pipe out there. PM, me when you come up with a price. |

Just checked out your site, seen you updated it. I will be ordering soon. What are the options for the tips? |

Radiused tube, straight square cut and straight slashed cut. I can change the angle of the tip on it some, but not a whole lot. They really need to be pointed down and out to clear the belt guard. |

I'm liking the slash tips you had on the RT-3. Tht would be the one to go with. Might be a silly question, the tip being that close to the belt, would it affect the life of the belt? |

No, shouldn't be a problem from what I can see, provided the belt guard stays on. If you remove it, I do not know. I'm sure it will get warm, but not to the point of melting it. It's pointed down away from the belt, so it's just radiant heat from the pipe. |

Sounds good. I should be getting in touch with you in a couple days to get details with tips and such.. Will you be getting in touch with Erik Buell Racing to get a map for the race ECM for RT-4? |

If they wish to test/tune it, yes. I will be at homecoming, possibly then would be a good time for them to possibly look at it and let me know what they think. I'm waiting on a response back from Michael about the RT-1 & 3 for now. I'm assuming that there would be one tune for all 4 versions since they seem to perform about the same within a few HP. I'm just going by my butt dyno for the RT-4, but it's saying the same thing. It was last calibrated back in late March. |

Are you still offering the RT-4 polished for the price you have listed on your website, or is it extra to get it polished? |

No, I'm going to charge a little less. I had several people ask for an unfinished pipe, just clean the welds up with a wire wheel and they wanted to either paint or ceramic coat it. I'll stick to just making the exhaust. Polishing is extra, but I've dropped the price on the pipe itself. |

This week only, $849 + shipping for an unpolished RT-4. Sale on it will end Sunday night. Regular price is $899/shipping. Polishing is an additional $79. Please note, I will not have time to complete any new orders until after Homecoming. I'm booked up all the way through until the day I leave and I'm trying to get everyone's pipes out to them if I can. All orders placed will get the materials ordered, so it will be sitting here for me to start welding when I get back. (Message edited by d_adams on June 02, 2010) |

I have a question about these. Do these have packing inside or is it a chamber muffler? In other words, will these need require any maintenance in the future? |
