Do the 97 S3's have the thunderstorm heads and the hotter cams from the factory? |

No. 98 S1W was the first ever Thunderstorm engine. 97 S3 will have the "Lightning" engine - a half-step between the S2 sportster engine, and the later Thunderstorm engine. |

The '98 S3 (last carb'ed S3, just before the '99 switch to EFI) had the S1W Thunderstorm engine. |

I'm not sure that's right. Pretty sure the 98 S1W was the only 98 that had the t-storm heads. |
