For Sale - Silver 1996 S2T. 20,534 miles. Engine is stock as is the rest of the bike except for the items items listed below. Includes: 1 set of lowers, 2 sets of bags (1 set narrow and 1 set deep) 1 set of bag liners 1996 S2/T parts book The good: Runs well Paint and bodywork are in very good shape. PM wheels NRHS billet aluminum filter backplate (nice) New rear and front ISO mounts New Rear Brakes - Fronts are in great shape New rubber seals on both sets of bags (still leak, no such thing as watertight S2 bags) Cleaned carb / new rubber internals New Pegasus catch can (see pic) Footpegs from Vrod (I have the originals if you really want them, although I don't know why) Chrome Buell clutch cover Tires are fair Battery kept on charger, works fine The bad: Header pipe has small dent (see pic) Front fender has a few chips Relays have some rust on the terminal lugs Bag liners show some wear One of the locks on the small bags is not working properly Also, there is a home made camlock on one of the small bags. It works fine, just not the original piece. Depends: The bike has a Supertrapp muffler - Maybe good or bad depending on how you like your bike. I am no fan of load pipes, but I have to admit the bike sounds just about right. Slightly louder than stock, but not obnoxious. I do not have the stocker. The second pic is the money shot, in my opinion (sweet!) More photos here 1996 S2T. What you see in the pics is what I have. Ray, great talking to you again. I have not been watching the "for sale" area for a long time for this reason.... I hope you get it Ray... Dirt, "the bad" you listed is no big deal in my opinion. It looks like a well cared for S2T in the best color to ever grace fiberglass bodywork. Do you have the Signature Series Timing cover and the mini build sheet for the bike??? And Joe, if Ray or anyone else does not pick it up and your willing......... Well, I better talk to Lynn.... Frank |

Frank - Don't have Sig series cover or documentation. Also, I agree the items I listed as bad are minor, but thought it wise mention it. Not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes. |

i will most likely miss that ride, Ray. i will be either racing or race prep that weekend. next year i am trying for an easier, more relaxed (cheaper) season but will probably try to do the Team Challenge events along with AHRMA. VIR weekend is Jun 20 if you want to drop by. best to you, tim |

Good find Ray... Shoot me a pm with your VIN so I can add you to the S2 Owners Registry... I would also recommend a Baldwin seat (built to your weight and desire) for those long distance rides... Better than Corbin and way better than stock. Also see the threads on saddle bag fail safe systems for when they pop open when you least expect it. |
