Author Message   Wkd14u2 Posted on Friday, May 28, 2010 - 06:19 am:        following all the good reviews i'm very tempted to pick up a Erik Buell Racing ecu next time i'm in the US, and my question is ( and probably stupid) once fitted if i take the bike to a UK dealer and they reflash it will it be over written? i have emailed Erik Buell Racing and asked this question but obviously they are very busy and i haven't got an answer, so thought i'd ask here. thanks in advance. You swap your stock one out. Just swap it back when you go to the dealer.   Jules Posted on Friday, May 28, 2010 - 10:05 am:        I doubt any UK dealer would fash a Race ECM - I'm not even sure if they could as they're "locked" (unless you're buying the unlocked version). All Buell ECMs inc E_B_R_ ones can be flashed. I have been adjusting mine and my brother's for weeks now using free software available on the net.
