If you buy a 2009 frame does it come insulated? I was wondering if I need to buy the roll from A S B and ask the shop to do the frame before installation. Im going from blue to black on the frame and swingarm. Its cheaper to replace then it is to repaint according to insurance. |

Plus if its replaced it isn't damaged Interesting question about the insulation, I honestly don't know. Many have had good results with adding more insulation to cover the spots that aren't covered on the 09's, so I would order some from American Sport Bike anyway. |

Funny thing about the '08s vs 09. Both of my 08 bikes piss way less fuel when hot than the 09. I'm not really sure why. One of my 08 bikes has Tech Spec "tank grips" on it. It's the most comfortable of the bikes to ride because less heat gets transferred to the rider. The 09 is the worst. By far. And yet, it's the only one insulated. I have never figured out why. |

I like the grip idea but I didnt like the look on the blue frame. It looks like it could be factory on the black frames. Is 1 roll from A S B enough for the frame? After the problems I had with a melting fairing I think Id rather have this on it over the stock crap that bubbles up. |
