Does anyone have the a place where i can print out the Safety Bulletin for the charging harness upgrade? I had mine done 2 weeks ago and last night i was going to install a tune for the stock exhaust and i still have the 05 tune from 2008 when the bike was built. I called the dealer and asked them why the newest flash was not installed and they said well bring your bike in Sat. and we will gladly install it...we will only charge you a hour labor. I was like huh? Then i proceeded to tell them that it was supposed to be upload with the recall and that the harness will not work without it.... but they did not want to hear that. Now i need something in writing to show them so i do not have to pay. Any help would be great. Thanks! | ||

I'd just call Buell and get a reference number or something ... updating the flash should always be free. Takes 5 mins, tops. | ||

Im going to call them tomorrow but there has to be a place to print out the Bulletin? Just want to have it in writing and just put it on the counter and say here you go...that way there is no questions. | ||

Bigschwerm, The Service Bulletin is "Buell 1125 models charging system upgrade Product Program 0507". The dealer gave me a copy of it after I took the CR in to have it done. I dont have a scanner to send it to ya. Tell them to pull up Product Program 0507 Bulletin B-099 and print it. Looks like Page 5 has the ECM calibrations table. C. |
