Someone may want to let Jerry Dolphin know that his computer may have contracted a virus, or someone hacked his name. The following came from the BCBRAG email list distribution.

Hey all....some good news: The patches are here!!!!! I haven't gotten around to seeing them yet. My schedule is booked all day. I'm going to try sneeking out to pick them up at some point during the day. If they meet my satisfaction, they'll be in the mail to Rick tomorrow. Dennis |

My notes show the Aug 10th Devil's Lake run listed from the original schedule discussed last fall. Wonder if it is still on and what route they are planning? The Devil's Lake area has some great roads, but getting there can be kind of boring unless someone knows a secret way. |

Bill, usually when I head up towards the Dells/Devils lake area I usually take 12. But there are a lot of backwoods ways to go. You can even take the goofy free ferry across the wisconsin river. Doubt I would go on that ride, been up there too many times & kinda bored with it. |

Dyna...I thought I read in the Milwaukee Journal a few months back that the Ferry went bust, was sold and the service discontinued. Any input on that? |

Ok, what the hell is up with the state fair charging $8 for bike parking? I never & I mean never ever paid for parking my bike at state fair before. Went today & got stuck paying. $8 for parking & $8 a piece to get in. And they jacked up all the food prices sky high. $5 for a plate of fries with some cheese & bacon em. $3.50 for a large coke & it wasnt all that large. You used to get a coupon for a free glass of mile from the milk house. Now the coupon has you paying 25cents. The old exhibit halls used to have some decent vendors with a large variety of goods. Now its all pots & pans & those damn mops everywhere. I have gone to the fair every year for 20 years now, but the wife & I both agreed that we will not be back next year.

Damn Dyna...Doesn't sound like you planned on buying anything but food and beverage since you were on the bike. |

Dana...Was referring to the Merrimac Ferry. Hope Racine gets one. Sure could use one closer than Manitowoc or where ever it currently is. |

Damn Dyna...Doesn't sound like you planned on buying anything but food and beverage since you were on the bike. Thats done on purpose. No room to haul shit home, means we dont buy it. One way to prevent the wife from spending any $$$ |

Oh yea, the weather sucked too. Was a great ride up there. Had checked the forecast earlier & they were calling for possible scattered storms. Nothin on the radar. About 5:30 or so the clouds started rolling in fast. We headed out & hauled ass towards home. The storms were moving very quick & we could actually see the rain coming down off in the distance. Hit I-94 & kicked it up to 80mph & was hoping to outrun the storm...didnt work. Hit us right at highway 11 in racine. Pulled off under the overpass & waited it out for a bit. Rain stopped so we headed out again headed east on 11. Got dumped on hard about 10 minutes later. Now I think I caught something, ears are plugged & throat is sore. I hate rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I discussed this a lil bit with Dana the other night. For those who are not interested in the Battletrax on friday, there will supposedly be a bunch of vendors already setup for the Harley 100th on that day. I havent looked to see who all will be there, but I know Hals is going to have some & as it looks right now Orange County Choppers is going to be setup at the Milwaukee mile. Be kinda cool to meet the crabby ole man. |

Dyna...Good thinking on taking the scoot to the State Fair. Bet you saved a bundle on gadgets. Now take that money and buy some rain suits for you and Dee. Mine sure came in handy today. Laughed my tush off at all the half naked ladies on the Harley's getting sliced to ribbons by the rain. |

I've got a couple of very good rainsuits, just no place to haul them. Dont have an old mans bagger. If it dont fit in my pocket it isnt coming with. |
