I recently purchased an '02 Blast and re-jetted the carb (45 & 170) Bike has Vance & Hines exhaust, new K&N air filter, new carb boot, needle shimmed with two #6 washers, new H-D platinum plug, fresh synthetic oil and new filter

After re-jetting it will start and run without the air box although it has low end hesitation. When I re-install the air box it will start and run for 10-15 seconds, die and won't restart.

Any ideas/recommendations?
