If I where to trade in my '02 M2 for a '04 XB12R what do you think my payments would be. Would I have to put a sizable down payment just to even out.

Oh yeah my credit is not the greatest.

Daves

I am more than likely going to go with a local dealer.

I am only asking to see if I can even afford a new XB12. I really want one but if it does not work out, fuck it, I will wait tell the 2005 models come out.

You might ask why I'd wait till the 2005 models would be released. Because that is the est I would return from my next TDY.

SgtBuell,
I almost always recommend dealing with your local dealer, unless they are one of the many that are clueless when it comes to Buell.

What the heck is a TDY?

keep in mind that a Buell slinger from the midwest will one day leave his calling with national defense and turn his passion and drive and organizational leadership skills into a second calling...no, not brewing, Buelling!!

He'll take over managing a soon to be famous dealership where we can always get great service from technicians who own and ride Buells. Their customer service will be known far and wide as the best. There will be a great display floor where all the current models are showcased with approved accessories and another area, out back in the skunk room, where the not so approved accessories are installed on donor bikes. The new dealership will host Buell centered riding events and win awards for service and support.

Perhaps there will even be a Buell museum of sorts. R's, RR's, RS's, the S-Series next to the XB's. Gathered together, to admire and explore the heritage of design and innovation...

Actually, several good Buell dealers are in the greater midwest, I was just hoping for one closer to the great river confluence...and it's not my plan...yet...I'm way beyond any associations with our defense community although I'm going to a retirement ceremony and party for a good friend!!! As close as I can get.

Perhaps one day in the near future, there will be a large gathering of Buell dealers in the midwest...to unveil in a grand public ceremony, the American Sportbike that absolutely surpasses the competition in every way and becomes the standard by which all future sportbikes are measured.
