just in case you were wondering the two don't mix well! What is the best way to get the melted (dried on now) "noodle" off of my header? I tried wd40 and blue scotch brite. |

I wouldn't get my noodle get near my headers....but if I did, I sure wouldn't use scotch brite seriously tho, I'd let it burn off and polish it up in a few hundred miles. |

Scrape as much off as you can then yea, drive it awhile to burn it to a crisp. Once its cooled off take a wire mesh and brillow and mid to light grade sand paper and go to town. but yes you will need to end up using green scotch bright pads to finnish it up. Try not to scrape to deep of groves when scraping it off so you dont need to sand to deep to get ride of them, groves. |

Pool noodle huh? I've heard of apparel, and all sorts of stuff getting burnt onto the header......but never a pool noodle. Thats the best combo I've heard yet. What those guys said about removing it. |

Did you put floaties on your bike so it wouldn't sink? I'd highly recommend to not go swimming with your bike next time! |

No Firebolt, I wear the blow-up floaties on my arms. With the flash floods of spring and early summer, you must be prepared! |
