I have recently had some problems with my rear pulley and now I have a rear pulley with stretched bolt holes. The Pulley is turning when I throttle my bike and it is snapping the heads off the bolts holding the pulley on. Therefore, I have been searching around for new pulleys for my 96' S2T and I cant seem to find one any where. I would appreciate the help. |

Just in case you did not see my other post::: Legacy404, are you sure you do not have another problem... If the pully is snapping heads then there may be something else a miss... How are the wheel bearings??? You should be able to get a pully from any dealership and like others have pointed out they show up on ebay etc.... Frank |

DO A TOOTH COUNT. There are two pulleys that will go on the S2. I don't remember the counts offhand, but one is for highway cruising, and the other great for acceleration...and each one requires its own belt. I agree with Frank though. You have something else going on. That pulley should be tight enough to the wheel that there is no sideload on the bolt heads. If you're snapping the heads off the bolts, that pulley is loose on the wheel for some reason. Either that, or your wheel is DRASTICALLY out of alignment - measure your axle spacing on each side and make sure they are even. |

and each one requires its own belt. The S2's came stock with the 29/61 sprocket combo. S1's came a little later with the 27/61 combo for the US and the 29/55 (55, IIRC) combo for HDI. All used the same belt. For the past 100,000 miles or so I've been running the 27/61 combo on my S2 with either the stock S2 belt or currently the Goodyear XB belt with the same size and tooth count as the tuber belt. I have no experience with a 27/55 combo, as that's the only other possibility with the OE tuber sprockets. How could you, Joe? 1313 P.S. Unfortunately, I have no input to add to the original topic. |

It was late, and I've been spending too much time with my XB and Loki. I forgot you can *adjust* the belt on a tuber |
