Does anyone have the part number and approximate cost for '07 fork springs (I think those are the ones you can swap in an '06 Uly)? I'm thinking of making the change on my '06. Thanks. Tim |

They were like $50 total. I had them replaced at the 10K service so there was no labor. Completely worth it! |

since your going to have them apart part way, might want to think about tearing them down all the way and replace the seals and bushings |

Also make sure you use the 07 oil level and settings. |

Ditto on doing it at the 10k. I never "missed" anything in the handling of my '06. I did run it one weight range heavy on front preload to combat brake dive...but other than that I had no issues. Put the '07 springs in and WOW. Worth every penny. Set for MY weight range now, headlights stay out of the dirt even when I'm braking hard, and it still handles awesome The 2 springs are the only parts you have to change, but definitely be sure to use the '07 settings and fluid levels. |

Sounds great, but it'll probably be more like a 20k service. (I'm working on my procrastination and getting pretty good at it). Besides, after heated grips, new tires and aux lights, my wife's starting to get jealous. |
