while browsing my local auction site here in NZ i stumbled on this M2,there was no pics on the auction,only a brief description so i bid on a whim. how could i resist,     When i went to pick it up,I found it came with polished rims,headers and V&H pipe. Its a pity the paint works scratched up.. She woulda been a stunner when first done.Actually still looks horny even sratched up. I have nearly stripped it down only got the swingarm to come out.I'm gonna flick off the parts i don't need/want/fit my X1. | ||

i'd say find a motor and have yourself a nice bike that is more 2up friendly for the longer rides. shame to see a good chassi go to waste. | ||

Unfortunately its been derego'd and the motors are bloody expensive here, would just about be cheaper to buy another bike.(also a lack of money) I did think long and hard about repowering it. | ||

no it wasn't broken down for a chopper.. Long story short, PO lent bike to mate, mate bought it back with noisy engine, Mate said i'll pay for it, never did , so its still sitting at shop/or was. with a 8k NZ bill As you can gather hes an exmate now. (Message edited by nallac on May 18, 2010) | ||

If the title is good I would set it to the side and wait for a sporty, tuber or XB engine to pop up. You know the $500 smoker special is gonna come by!!! |
