Hi, i where riding my bike, suddenly i could see that it where spitting some greyish oil from my breather hose,, i turned my nose home.. tried to start and run the bike after it have coled down a while, no more spitting of oil.. so is this normal? I have changed the oil and have run about 100km since, but never hard. is it possible that i have overfilled it with oil? |

Which hose? Was it on the back fender / tire? Then it was the primary breather, and it's a bad crank seal. You can replace it without splitting the cases. |

Nope, I was talking about the one from the crank case, up by the starter, venting the area under the primary cover. When the crank seal goes, it sprays transmission fluid on the rear fender. Sounds like that isn't your problem! |

If its just a light grey oily foam its just crank build up that a catch can will catch or if you do what i did just reroute the breather out the back , its worse when you do short rides where the bike cant get really hot . |
