I'm a new 1125R owner. I have a couple of questions which I'm sure have been discussed before but I was unable to find the answers. 1. What have folks done to keep their mirror stems from being blown back by the wind at speed? 2. Those of you who have installed a GPS, where have you wired for power? I would like to use a circuit that is only active when the key is turned to "on." Thanks for your help. |

1) Nothing... never had that issue, if you do there's something wrong 2)The accessory plug (under the headlight) it'll only power up with the engine running and automatically cuts off when the battery voltage drops so you don't drain the battery with accessories and get stranded.. |

1. the bolts that hold the mirrors down are T-30's, get a socket t-30 and then you should be able to tighten them up well. 2. The plug is grey, it has cap on it with two black dots. i circled it in the pic below.

Some of the early 08s had issues with the mirror stalks folding. One solution is peen the pivot rivet. seriously. Another is Super-Glue in the joint. I sold mine and replaced with Firebolt long-stem mirrors. Some got their dealer to replace them under warranty. Congrats, welcome and all that. Zack |
