After I shut the bike down and the fans stop I hear what sounds like the fuel pumping starting and stopping for about 10 minutes. Does anyone else notice a similar noise on their bikes? I am just trying to figure out what it is. I have an 09 cr by the way.

That's normal. It cycles on and off and 10 minutes sounds right.

The ECM keeps the fuel rail pressurized for 10 minutes after shut-off. For anyone else who is searching

the pump runs after shut down to keep the preasure in the fuel rail high enough so the fuel stays as a liquid to help avoid vapor lock its not the priming factor in it
