Hey guys... if you're local perhaps we can meet up this upcoming Sat May 15th... do some riding... then head out to the bike drag races out at the Dallas Speedway... http://www.texasscooter.com/ Found out about this when I was getting my XB serviced last week... time and place to meet tbd... off the top of my head I was thinking perhaps meet at the Harbor in Rockwall @ sayyyy 2~3 PM weather permitting. I'll be at a wedding on the 15th, but this is something I would like to do another time. I thought about trying to meet with other Dallas Buell riders too, and make some new friends. | ||

Cool... so far that makes 5 of us (my son will be on his new Ninja 250R... so take it easy on him  . A couple co-worker buddies of mine will be going as well. We need more Buellys though! | ||

Supposed to be at a V-Rod gathering in Broken Bow this weekend. Weather is iffy. We'll see, I guess. But a DFW get together sounds good to me. | ||

Hey guys... seems like this may be a bad weekend to try to get together... seems like everybuelly and their brother has plans of some sort... plus... well... the weather looks a bit too iffy to make solid plans. So some other time for an organized meet n greet. However... if the weather is good to go maybe I will run into some of you guys out at the races. Pre runs are at 5 and the races begin at 8. I went out to this track last year and raced my CR... was a ton of fun. Dont think I'm racing Sat night... just watching and enjoying the night. Maybe I'll see some of you there! | ||

Here's the link... http://www.texasscooter.com/ Not sure if there is "special" registration for these particular races. During a regular evening though pay $20 at the gate... all that is required is that you have a helmet, jeans, jacket (nothing extreme... I think even a jean jacket would work), full finger gloves... thats it. Pretty much regular ride wear. If you forget or dont want to wear a jacket to the track if its hot or what not they rent light jackets for $10 (at least the Redline Raceway track in Royse City did). Race and have fun... at the end of each run they hand you a slip with your times and such. Lots of fun! | ||

I live 8mi. from track. My son races mini sprints at Cowtown Speedway on Sat. night but looks like a rain out for the dirt track, if so I will be at the drag strip if not raining. | ||
