Howz about starting a listing from those of you who have a great dealer for the 1125? Please state the city and a phone number or website for them and any notes about the interest level. I think we really need this. |

I concur. The jury is still out on the dealer closest to me, so I'd like an alternative in mind. There's always the second closest dealer but I'd like to know what kind of experience I'm likely to have beforehand. |

www.gatewayhd.com Gateway HD, St. Louis MO. Very good service, nice people there, very good Buell support. Buzzie has an 1125 of his own, so some vested interest there also. |

Santa Fe Harley: Awesome. Excellent service, half their techs ride Buells of some variety or another, their service manager has a garage full. And they're very happy to talk to you about any issues/very knowledgeable about problems that have been common. Albuquerque Thunderbird Harley: "Fine, we'll deal with it. What's the problem? Ok, I wrote 3 words on the service sheet. Come back in a few hours." Not very good service, not very knowledgeable, avoid. Zylstra Harley in Ames, IA - Avoid. Much the same, not eager to work on the bikes, they know how to sell Harleys but not Buells, etc. |

Excellent idea. Thanks. I haven't found a good one in the Phoenix area yet but I have found that Chandler H-D isn't the most competent when it comes to repairs. As of this date, they haven't actually fixed anything and have overlooked some really obvious issues. Their sales staff was good though. Summary: Chandler H-D Chandler, AZ Service: Poor Sales: Good/Very good (Message edited by ratsmc on May 11, 2010) |

Downtown HD/Buell in Renton, WA has treated me well. They actually have a factory-trained Buell tech on staff who has been mentoring some other techs. I feel confident in their work. Haven't let me down yet. |

Big plus eleventy hundred for Uke's in Kenosha, WI. I'm still warming up to Conrad's in Joliet, IL. I'm debating taking the 1125 there for service since I'm so close. |

Dean, thanks for the helpful comments about Gateway HD. If Dales HD isn't able to get my ECM flash warrantied, and if they aren't willing to at least cut the $80 in half that they charged me for the flash if they can't get it warrantied, then I'll be heading to Gateway next. Joebuell, I bought my 1125R from Ukes. Not only did I get a smokin' price, they were happy to take care of everything over the phone for me as well as crate the bike and have it loaded onto the shipping company's truck. (Those services did add a little to the price of the bike, but I still got a phenomenal price after paying for 3% CC surcharge, palletizing the bike, tax, title, license and shipping fees.) I've never been to Ukes but their sales staff was first-rate to deal with over the phone. (Message edited by thefleshrocket on May 12, 2010) |

I've lived in different states over the years, and used local dealers wherever I was. But easily the best (by far!) has been Cycle Connection HD in Joplin, MO. Great service, Buell friendly (and knowledgeable), nice folks. I've yet to take my bike the 75 miles (one-way) for anything - They always come and get it! http://www.cycleconnectionh-d.com/ Mike |

Shameless plug for the dealership I work at - www.highcountryharley.com We are a sponsor and are very Buell-centric. We usually fly H-D and Buell, but are waiting for a new H-D flag...

+1 on Highland HD/Buell in Somerset Pa. Best dealer I have ever been to for both sales and service. To bad they are 360 miles away from me. Although that did not stop me from buying three bikes from them last year. The same owners of the shop in Lavale, MD. Got my road glide from the Lavale shop back in 2004. I usually go to Downtown Harley in Renton, Wa. They 1 or 2 bikes left but next to no "street" gear and I havn't seen any riding gear there for a while. Their Buell tech, Kevin has always done good work for me. I wish would have shown the level of commitment Zack and High Country have shown. Downtown did piss me off this weekend though. I ran in there just to see what they had left and they had a new firebolt on the floor with a custom select seat. I got a little excited and asked one of the guys if I could buy the seat and they could put a stocker back on it. I got some bullshit line about how there were ads for the bike all over and they just lost $300 because someone drove a couple hundred miles to pick up some other bike. The bike in the ad apparently had some sort of backrest or sissy bar and the one on the floor didn't. |

+1 Daniii... The Allen TX (Tad North of Dallas) is my dealer of choice! Lots of reasons why but in short... they are.. hmmm... well they appreciate the Buells... have a more contemporary younger~ish vibe. Cool service dept and some very cute\friendly women working there. I drive past my closest HD dealer in Garland TX to go the extra 50 miles to get the Allen service. The Garland store has been... ehhh... ok... and they have some friendly people but for the most part they act as if Buells are invading their precious Harley showfloor. Their crew is mainly the "old school" Pirate gear wearing variety of "biker". One day I asked a salesman why they seem to have a disinterested vibe about the Buells. He stated that it is true that he is uncomfortable around the bikes because he doesn't know anything about them. I get that but.... uhhhh... ummm.. LEARN... its your job. I wonder how many Buell sales suffered due to disinterested service based on lack of knowledge...? |

Baggh, Well I bought a Buell from each store, Allen and Garland. Treated better on the 1125 purchase by Garland. It was a choice between a Streetglide and the 1125. I had 600 service done at the Garland store by Cy who ownes a Buell. Both stores are on a level field as far as service goes with me so far..... Yes, Allen has better visual appeal..... |

Hey Gofast, Wonder if I ran into you at some point I too bought a Buell at each dealer... my '08 XB12S in Garland... '09 1125CR in Allen. Funny... I guess impressions and such vary based on the salesman\techs\etc that you personally interact with... and perhaps their mood at the time... ? Don't get me wrong... I do like the Garland dealer its just with my experiences the Allen store seemed more Buell friendly. I have had great experiences with the actual Garland mechanics... one of them changed a tire for me and gushed about my 1125... gave me his card and said he'd love to go riding sometime. I dig the Garlands store's setup a bit more... especially if you're waiting on a service. They have that cool waiting room... Allen has nothing... except friendly eyecandy which counts for something I will say that there is one service representative at Garland that knows nothing about Buells (and generally she's the main one there)... good friendly person but... well... yeah. |

South Valley Harley in Sandy, UT is very Buell friendly. Haven't had service done there, but there was a Buell in the back and apparently one or two of their techs have them. Their parts guys were awesome though! Contrary to the map Froggy posted, I found SLC HD to be rude and very unhelpful. |
