So, I'm kinda curious what everyone is using for bar ends on their bike. |

The stock things for now. No reason to change them. I will be putting on HVMP bar ends soon, I am working on scheduling a day for my CR to be measured to get a good fit. Not that I need them, more of a why not kinda of thing. |

Vibranator. Looks good and reduces the vibes in the bar. Chris |

Throttlemeisters. Not only do they damp out some of the vibration, they allow me to give my right hand and wrist an occasional rest on long highway drones... |

I went with the colored Lockhart Phillips bar ends. Go the blue ones to match my blue windshield. |

Finally got to try out the "Vibranators". They really work and look nice in natural color. I have the 1" handlebars from AmericanSportbike and combined with Uly pegs, my 1125R is perfect (for me) for longer runs than 150mi. A long time ago I did 30k miles (several years and track racing) on an SR500 and this bike reminds of that--just like 10 times the power! Saving my bucks for an Erik Buell Racing 1125R track bike. |

How are the HVMP Regular bar ends working out? Did they work at eliminating the vibrations in the bars? |

HVMP heavy bar ends. I just went for a ride with them today. They definitely reduced the vibrations but doesn't completely eliminate them. Hand still got a little numb but it was cold out. Seemed to take longer for hand to start to go numb and not as bad. |

I bought a $10 generic set at a local metric shop. Used the internal parts, some aluminum and my lathe and built the ends. Each bar has 130 gms of #8 bird-shot in side too, zero buzz.

How do you put the birdshot in the bar ends? Is it encased or loose? |

It's stuffed in a small ziplock bag and taped up so they don't break free. I used $15 generics from the loco metric shop. They work fine and look better than the plastic plugs. (Message edited by hogzilla on May 13, 2010) |
