Looking to buy a spare set of tires while they are on sale now. Has anyone ever used any of these, and if so how do they do? http://www.compacc.com/Tires-Sport-Super-Sport Thanks |

I have used the Pirelli Diablo Rosso ever since the first Corsa III wore out, and am plenty happy with them. They a bit longer lasting than the Corsa III, with just a slight bit harder compound. Other than that, everything the same...Tire profile, tread pattern, etc. match the Corsa III. |

I've used them all! You know the great thing about tires now? There are so many great ones! If we are talking just street riding here, almost any of them are a good choice. How they feel to you is more important. The Diablo Rosso is an updated version of the Diablo which is meant as as sport/street tire. They are just fine for the street, but if you are an upper-level track day rider you will be able to out ride them at the track. The Pilot Power 2CT are often on sale now having been replaced by the Pilot Pure. I've seen them as low as $215 delivered per set, and that's a great deal on a really good street/trackday tire. |

Any of the known name tires in the sport or sport touring designation will work fine. Avon, Dunlop, Metzler, Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, etc. As Jdugger said, all good for street use. And they don't last all that long at best so it's not like you're married to them. |

Jake Wilson had them for a decent price as well, several different brands. I got 2 rears and a front BT-016 shipped for $300 even last month. |

There's a recent thread about jakewilson.com and a promo code to use. I used it and I'm waiting on my bt-016's to come in the mail. $181 for the set shipped, and they got pilot powers for the same price i think. I've never bought tires for so cheap. It's awesome. |
