Hi all,

I'd like to change my barricade orange flyscreen and airbox to black.

Going through the archives I found these parts:

M1224.1ADMW INTAKE COVER, MIDNIGHT BLACK (W/DECALS) Retail Price:$219.00
M1224.1AAMW INTAKE COVER KIT W/DECAL, MIDNIGHT BLACK Retail Price:$219.00
M1224.1AKMW INTAKE COVER KIT,BLK W/DECAL Retail Price:$219.00
M1224.1AMMW INTAKE COVER KIT, MIDNIGHT BLK, W/DECAL Retail Price:$219.00

My question is does anybody know the difference between these parts? I would suspect that the decals would be different because I seem to remember seeing blk airboxes with different decals.

What about fit? do all airboxes fit all years? I have a 2008 XB12X.

06 and later had air vent holes by the gas filler hole. Make sure you get the airbox cover for 06 or newer.

My question really is in all of the 06 and newer black airbox covers are they all the same?

So far I found out that thier is at least 3 models: one with an Amber (thx froggy) decal on it, one with a grey decal, and one with a grey decal with some lines on it, also I remember seeing one with a compass rose on it too.
