All I'm looking to add about 2 inches to the seat of a Blast (it's already the standard seat) . .. anyone know of a place in the Chicago/Milwaukee area that will do it sometime before September (Alligator Bob's business has apparently gotten really good!) thanks |

Windy City Track Day Suggestion! I spoke with Rick Brewer from Learning Curves today. The BMW group that he had scheduled for Monday September 8th has backed out. He thinks it will be an ideal date for us, no matter what size our group. It will cost $150 each. As soon as I commit to him, he will change the schedule to include our chapter name for that day. Who's in? I'll make sure to make a pitch at the August 7th meeting as well. Don}

Bomber, Try Ogden Top&Trim here in Berwyn. John there has been doing some of the finest custom trim work in the country for over 30 years and usually can get it done pretty fast. Give him a call at 708 484 5422 |

Bomber, Many years (actually many,many) ago I had Meechers Upholstery (Glenview, IL) finish a custom seat base I made for my Triumph T120 Bonnie. I just brought them the metal base, we discussed what I wanted it to look like, and they did a good job. The guy originally wanted something like $200, but I talked him down to $50 (like I said, many years ago). If all else fails, give 'em a call because they just may still do good, cheap work! |

What's an XB12R, what's an XB12S. I'll bet you can guess, if not your slow, so go to www.buell.com to get all the exciting info on the new 2004 Buell product line. What else does this mean to you? Just your best opportunity to make a steal of a deal on one of the 3 remaining 2003 XB9S bikes I have in stock. Make me an offer that Tiny won't slap me for and I'll take it to him. Also if your looking for any new or used bike, July 25-27 we're having a 100th Anniversary Tent sale. I can promise you the lowest prices of the season on any bike we have in stock. We'll be open 10-10 on Fri. and Sat, and 10-5 on Sun. (later if that's what it takes) Don't miss it. Sam Sam Scolastico Illinois H-D/Buell 1301 S. For anyone who knows Rich (BuellBomb) from the Gap trips or homecoming, you might want to know that he was riding his Busa (not Buell) with the Tri-State Trash (Carlos, Sleeper, et all) in WV and went off the road. Here is the deal: They were riding on the Blue Ridge parkway, details of how he went down are not entirely clear. He went down about 4:00 yesterday, was in surgery till about 9:30 last night. He is at Roanoke (sp) Virginia Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition. He is in the intensive care unit. The general phone # is 540-981-7000. They removed his spleen, he broke only his left leg but both bones (tibia and fibula ??) just below the kneecap. It was a multiple compound fracture so there is ALOT of nerve and muscle damage. The doc's will need to put his leg together in another surgery Friday. If they are sucessful, he will have a long road of rehabilitation. He was coherant before going into surgery. |

Hey folks, some nice person found a Buell key in the parking lot of Jackson Hewitt on North Ave in Melrose Park and mailed it to me (on an IL/Buell keytag) It is either for a Blast or XB9?
