So my warranty will be up soon. I don't know much about wrenching on these thigs so I'm wondering if there's anything I should have checked before it runs out. Now that there's no extended warranty I'll be out of luck once it's out. Any advice would be apreciated. |

I was told by my dealer that I CAN re up my extended warranty,I don't see why you couldn't. Go to any dealer and ask about it,I'm sure they'd be more than happy to sell you one even if they wont work on it. |

I tried that, they said no the company no longer exists.. Maybe it's a dealer thing and not an hd thing? |

here in uk there are companies who offer mechanical warranty on bikes for a premium (worked out to about £20 / month for me) when dealer warranty expires. nothing to do with HD. probably the same thing for you guys there? |

I will try that. But I was thinking of taking it to a mechanic as well to give it the once over and was really wondering if there's anything prone to fail I should be checking. Maybe compresion test? |

As long as the original factory warranty is still in place, you can get the extended warranty. And that's just BS that the company is out of business. The same company that covers Harley Davidsons is the one that covers Buells. |

I got the wrenches Zombie. I don't mind doing the little stuff, My point was more just what to check for Before the warranty runs out. So if say the engine is f-ed up I can get a new one before I have to pay for it.. I guess I'll just take it and ask for a once over.. |
