$10,500 for a trackday bike... I am sure there are more than a few here that wouldn't mind picking one of those up. It sounds like they are going to be made available to the tracks more as demo bikes to try out. Very interesting. |

There couldn't be an endless supply of bikes to modify for racing. How many are left anyway? |

I was up at Erik Buell Racing a month or so ago (I live nearby) and they showed me a 1125 with full fairing with inside out radiator flow but not for street use. He said starting in the 7K range I think and going up depending on suspension, engine tune, exhaust, chain, etc. There was lots of parts, several whole bikes, I think he said there hundreds of engines and I saw pallets and pallets of wheel. I feel much better about track days knowing I can still get replacement stuff. |
