Is the header outside diameter the same between the XB9's and the XB12's? Thanks! | ||

No, the primaries are different sizes. I don't recall the amount but there is a difference. | ||

The exhaust ports are the same, in other words, you could (if you wanted to) use either the 9 or 12 header on either bike. However the exhaust tubes are larger on the 12, not sure by how much though. | ||

If you look at for far down the 9 header is necked, you'll get a good idea of the size difference. It is significant. |
