Guys, I recieved my new 1125r on 17th March 2010. According to the VIN number it is an 09 model, but on the frame(vin tag)right hand, front the frame is stamped as oct 08. Now for the recalls, etc which date so i use????? |

Recals are tracked by VIN. Have the dealer run the VIN and they can tell you if there are outstanding recalls. Also, remember it's like cars, the 2011 models are out now, even though it's 2010. So, yes, your bike is a 2009 model. |

Thanks a stack, i do appreciate it. So, actually, the dealer is the only one that can confirm for me, i can not do it by myself. |

You can use the "service check" feature on the Harley website to see if there is any outstanding recalls or service bulletins. If your VIN says its an 09, then its an 09 |

Hey Froggy I just ran my vin in the service checker and no recall or SB came up does that mean there is none or and I just looking at the wrong thing? |
