Peter: Watch out: When a special model has not been imported here ever, that model will be the first one and it will cost you maybe lots and lots of money and even type testing with handing over the blueprints before you can get (maybe) an allowance for the road. Modified bikes with type allowance have only a chance when brought back completely to stock. Vintage models: Depends somewhat on the inspector: Mostly a friendly welcome without hassle. Or do you want you to emigrate because of that bike ? Hans |

Hans, Yeah I know. I went over all the regulations and charges with Grizzly a few weeks ago. I was also looking at Rex's S2. That's why I know I can't afford it..... |

Blackcat, You are almost there. Maybe still too big? Use Irfanview (freeware from irfanview.com) to resize. You can shrink it even a thad more with the optimizer from xat.com (limited edition freeware) You have to get your pic at least smaller than 50 or 45 KB (forgot the exact number) and in .jpg or .gif format. NOT BMP files. JPEG format has the file extension ".jpg" and is called also "jpg format". That format goes well, while there where ever problems with pictures with the .gif extension. Good luck, Hans |

Blackcat, I've always used Xat. I've been able to quickly resize a picture to 640x480 then compress it to under 50K. Takes about 30 seconds total. Plus like Hans said, it free!
