i'm doing a Ss to uly tail swap and am looking for parts to make this happen. i've already started getting a couple things off of Ebay.

Well, you're going to need....
Taillight and taillight bridge
Grab handles (passenger)
Triple tail assembly
License plate assembly
Seat lock assembly and cable
BAS relocation cable
Battery tray/undertray (I think; don't remember if they're different than Ss...)
seat
footpeg mounts
different rear master cylinder
shifter extension (drop setup)
pegs (yes...they're different and XB pegs don't fit the slots)
Are you going to switch to the adjustable-preload Uly shock?
Tail/seat rails are the same, you have to drill different holes for the taillight bridge though.
What do you already have / what do you need? It might make it easier for folks interested in helping you out... |

good suggestion ratbuell, i probably should have done that up front.
i have the triple tail with grab handles, the tail light assembly with license plate bracket, the rear brake lines and mounting bracket, and driver foot pegs.
semirgdj, i'm not sure but i think your talking about the license plate bracket, if so i already have that part. thanks though.

Thats the majority of it. There is a handful of fasteners and other
pieces you need, but I don't have the numbers handy. Also the wiring
is different, you will need to splice wires to get the tail light to
work, and get creative to mount the battery and fuses.
It isn't worth it in my opinion, it just makes your bike heavier and more crash prone. |
