I figured if I used the word "nipple" I'd get more people to read this thread. Anyway, I've been using NGK DPR9EA-9 plugs in my '98 S3T for a long time, and I feel they are the way to go. But, unfortunately you have to screw the nipple adapters to the tops to use these with the Buells. They used to come with the nipples, but NGK quit doing that. I've been using the same pair for many years, and they are getting chewed up. NGK customer service doesn't care, and I don't see anyone selling them separately. What do you guys do? Is there a way to convert the wires to attach to the screw tops? |

Seems to me it might be time for a different make of plugs, IF NGK doesn't care about you, return the favor. |

go to autozone, there are some bosch spark plugs, most of them have removable nipples, and as cheap as like a $1.29 a piece... they should thread onto the ngk's, i had some laying around in my garage bc i have a volkswagen, so i had some old bosch plugs. they threaded onto my ngk irridiums. btw, try to find something better you that you like, i hate putting jap plugs in my american bike :/ btw, the same filter for my vw golf fits my bike :P bosche |
