Was wondering what the differences besides the appearance, if any there is on the Buell TT model compared to the other same year models ? |

The TT is basically a ULY with all the stuff stripped off. No passenger pegs either. |

TT has the SS/Ulysses frame and swingarm - 54 inch wheelbase instead of 52, and 4.4 gallons of fuel instead of 3.6 (3.8?). It is NOT a Uly with the stuff stripped off; more like an Ss with a slightly taller suspension and a Uly front fender. It has shorter travel suspension than a Ulysses, and shorter than an XT. It has a standard XB-S tail section and taillight. The 2-up seat option uses standard XB-S or XB-R passenger peg supports. It has a standard Lightning flyscreen, no power outlets like the Ulysses. It is taller than an Ss, but shorter than a Uly. Matter of fact, when they killed the TT, they didn't really "kill" it...an '09/10 Ss is just a TT with a standard XB front fender and 2 up seating. And, it's one of the best XBs ever built. Too bad Marketing dropped the ball on it, BIG TIME. |

Thanks for the info. I like them because the number plate kind of fills in the back of the bike to me. Finding one may take a while. You guys amaze me, like walking encyclopedias on these bikes ! Does the rear number panel bolt on or what ? (Message edited by mtkawboy on April 30, 2010) |

If you're looking for a new one, the Harley store in Bloomington, IN had a white one on their floor last time I was in there. |

>>what constitutes an "old school"... When you click on the Old School Forum read the paragraph that starts out with "Do you prefer artistically formed....... Old School Buellers are generally more laid back and try to help each other out with tech info about the turd bikesthey own, and don't get in near as many pissin' match's as the other forums. The model your asking about is in the XB forum 3 more down from from this one. BTW welcome to BadWeb! (Message edited by jramsey on April 30, 2010) |

You can call Andy at Toledo HD and ask him to mark you down for their last TT. It is a 07 in white, saw it today, they are asking 6900. Brand new. I think there are two new ones in Ann Arbor at American HD too. |

Willis, it's a little bit of a drive but Casper (WY) lists a 07 and 08 STT in Arctic White, and Gillette (WY) shows one 08 in the same color. Closer to you than it is to me. I never called them to verify their inventory or ask about pricing though... I was watching those for a little while before I found a used TT I decided to go after. FWIW I did some demo laps at the Miller Motorsports Park on a TT and it was my favorite bike I rode that day (also rode a 12S and 12R). Nice bikes. Welcome to Badweb! Here you go: http://www.buell.com/en_us/tools/find-a-bike/state -inventory.asp?statefilter=WY# |

The rear number panel uses the passenger peg bracket bolts to attach, and a smaller screw to the rear reflector brackets. Take the plates off, use the same bolts, and put on passenger peg mounts. Five minutes, six bolts |
