WTF is that last pic? Why do people insist on posting gory pics? I usually surf the Badweb while eating something so I wish people could refrain from showing off their f-ups. |

pop that black plastic scuff cover off and wipe the oil out of that cavity. put some GSD aluminum pucks on there. if it is dripping from one of the oil lines it is probably cracked. i didn't see any oil in the pics. tim |

It's all about what Fresno wants. Heal up fast man. The fluid might be clutch fluid from the under the puck. I don't see oil either. |

I wasn't there the first day or two but when I was parking it yesterday I noticed the case cover wasn't ashy on the lowest part. Another closer look showed the moist area was between the two lowest ribs comIng from the puck. Also is there sappose to be a screw in that open screw hole in front of the case |

Not just a screw is missing. The bracket that supports the oil cooler from the bottom is missing too. |

No screw goes in that hole on the cr. There's a threaded hole on the other side also. I see the oil cooler bracket in that pic. |

Here's a technique to get back on your bike by the next day. I call this how to heal in 24hours. First clean the sores. Then cover them till you can sit still overnight. Finally and the most Important step. If the sore is on you knee like mine is sit in a chair or on the sofa with your knee bent as much as possible. Wear some shorts and keep it bent. Just let It air dry. Yep. Air dry that $#!+. Then it should scab over by morning and you can walk like a man (Message edited by Guard_rail on April 30, 2010) (Message edited by Guard_rail on April 30, 2010) |

On my 08' there is a bolt in that boss holding a cast bracket that goes back to the oil cooler bolt. BTW that is a red 1125r. Time4Lunch Neil S. |

I'm trying to tell everyone that the red ones are faster plus the 09's shine more so THeRe even faster than the 08's but nobody believes me....lmao |

Didn't see the fairing the first time. My bike doesn't have a bracket there. |

What is the purpose of that bracket? Did they stop using it on new bikes or just forget to install it on some? |

If that little pic of minor rash makes you sick while youre eating, then maybe you should find some kind of quarantine zone to eat in. Heal up quick, and get that red machine fixed up! |

No such bracket on a '09 CR! Guardrail you're not missing anything. Mountainstorm was wrong too, there is no clutch oil on that side of the bike... that is the stator cover, if oil is leaking from it because its cracked you will need a new one. If your oil line is busted, I can make some sweet -8 AN lines for you for less than the stockers cost if my memory serves me well like I did here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/553281.html .

Hey Cap. Ameica, how much for a set of red hoses. I live in La Habra and have a red R, the red hose would add a better look. |
