I'm scratching myself right now as a matter of fact. Youre only a nasty if you smell your finger after you scratch. |

I never thought of you as nasty, Blake. Direct and honest, yes. Nasty, no. You have cast a shadow of doubt regarding nasty with the "scratch" comment though. I too get tired of persons coming in here claiming this and that after having bought an 1125 at 1/2 price of retail. There are solutions for known issue. They have been enumerated on this board hundreds of time. Use the search function. If the dealer does not live up to your standards, then deal with it. After 30K miles on my 'leventwennyfive, it's been "broke down" (isn't that actually "broken down"?) a total of 4.5 days (including the 24K service) for things that have been discussed here ad nauseum for the past 2 years. Here's the recipe: Go to the dealer and diagnose the problem. Ride the bike until the parts come in. Take it in for repair - in most cases while you wait - especially if you are friendly with the service manager. Simple as that. Longevity and durability of the motor? Better than most out on the market today. |

Blake Its rather obvious its intentional. I just don't see it as overly constructive or useful. That being I'm a visitor to the board and find plenty of useful information. Again i just don't see how calling a person a moron adds to the board but maybe that just a reflection on my age. |

Call me what you want Blake! Where did I call Buell a POS, other than the one I own, which I have every right, I own it, you do not. If I owe you an explanation, which I don't, the other brand was purchased on a vacation where the Buell would not run, and another Buell, of my knowledge, was not available at the nearest dealer, over 70 miles away, it was considered. The other brand was purchased so I could ride during my vacation, that is what the vacation was for, with the Buell, I had no intention of purchasing another motorcycle at the time, that was the best option, and I am glad I did it. I have all the facts and documents of my 1125's history, why do I owe that information to you, or anyone else on here, and why do you even want to know? Why did you request my servicing dealership information, you did not answer? You might want to be careful on the honesty claims around here, especially from your camp, just suggesting! How you spun my previous post into trolling is beyond me, call A.D. Farrow at Northstar, and ask if my bike is there, what it is there for, and if it broke down, also ask them what the circumstances were when it broke down,(they thought it was funny, as I did, that I bought a new bike on the trip, so did everyone else on the trip) and then come back and accuse me of being dishonest (1.888.807.9901), and while you have them on the phone, ask them about the two other 1125's, a white 2009 and a black 2009 they have setting there. Where have I discredited Buell or their name on here, if it is by telling the truth, then you are correct, I did, and have! What is your definition of a "breakdown", leaving you stranded, potentially stranded, but made it to a destination, completely unusable etc etc. please be specific? Everything I have posted on here now and prior to now has been true and honest, even if you have a hard time accepting that! As I told you before Blake, Just because you believe something is fact, does not make it a fact! By the way, your attempts at attacking me with your adolescent like name calling will always fail, if you have a hard time with that, oh well, find another hobby! Why is it so important to you to try and bate people into confrontation, kind of ridiculous, is it not? And no, you are not exposing anything, except your useless attempts at making everyone think they are wrong and you are right. Sorry your wrong,"AGAIN"! At least make it look less of a desperate "power trip" attempt! You really need to find some new names to call people, you have really worn the current ones out, again, just a suggestion. I have not stirred up anything on here, and I abide by the rules, unless, stating true facts of my experience with my 1125 falls into this category, than I am guilty as charged! Oh yeah, I stated many times on my trip ( to fellow Buell owners), that the trip was not the same without being on my Buell, the new bike was great, but I would have rather been on the Buell, another true fact. If that is "moronic", "troll like" and/or "whining", I am guilty again, but it is a true and honest statement. Seriously Blake, call A.D. Farrow, PM me the info needed so we can two way them, then they will disclose any information you feel you need, I have nothing to hide, if you need to contact Hales, the previous dealer, we can call them too! . I need to call A.D. Farrow anyway, they have not contacted me to let me know what the problem is, or when it will be fixed. It has been a week, maybe I should have "whined" the next day! LOL! Troy |

Just a guess...I am sure its hard to get parts when any new product shuts down. How long has the 1125 been made 3 Years? Look most people dont buy new models because of unknown problems...this is where us the paying volunteers help make a greater product. If you bought this bike to be perfect you may want to think a little harder about future investments. The 1125 is by far hands down the best motorcycle I have owned. FYI I read a thread of some sort about maybe turning the weep hole to the top thus helps slow the leak. For what it is worth I am sorry you got a lemon because my 1125 is perfect. |

Mr. Benson, The indignation is unhelpful. Prove my suspicions incorrect. I ask again, for the fourth time now...
Concerning your "breakdowns"... So what are you talking about? Please be specific. Answer question? Good! More indignant blah, blah, blah? Poo. Why do I ask for the dealership? On account of a number of times we've caught trolls here in outright lies about their experiences. (Message edited by blake on April 28, 2010) |

Why don't you boys grow up..? Someone's got a problem...he's pissed...SO..? My CR sat for almost a year until I could get it to run somewhat correctly with the OHIO program (that we can't talk about...!?)(childish that we can't be forthcoming...!), tell ME I'm wrong. While I am basically happy with my CR...these things are terrible..problem vs. bikes produced, when put up next to most Japanese brands. Lighten up... Mike |

"As I told you before Blake, Just because you believe something is fact, does not make it a fact!" When it's his forum, I believe it does make it fact. If Blake asks something, it should be done since he provides us with this entertainment free of charge. |

Dude, anyone's claiming a R or CR had to sit for almost a year due to fueling issues is complete BS. That's YOUR fault. Plain and simple. FYI, the fueling issues were solved LONG ago...see your dealer. |

Well Blake I guess we are at a stand still here! There is no possible way to answer your questions, unless I excuse my morals and believe how you believe, not gonna happen! Still waiting for my answers too, please be specific! The offer is still on the table, call them yourself for the information, why hear it from someone you obviously don't trust. You are not catching a Troll here, all facts are true and honest, call them! Why would I all of a sudden become a troll, that makes little to no sense? Ridegreen2oo, If you truly believe your statement, you will fit right in here, that is exactly what is wanted around here! Troy |

Doerman, Thanks for the advice, I have followed exactly as you describe, It will not stay running this time though, so it stayed at the dealer. I purchased mine before the "1/2 off sale", I paid close to retail for mine, around $12,000 OTD, with a smile. |

Gentlemen, this forum is meant to be used for intelligent information and debate is it not? As others have said lets get on with it and enjoy what are incredible bikes with some flaws that can be problematic but no more so than the faults experienced by other manufacturers - what is designed and built can always go wrong. Having been riding and fixing bikes for the last 35 years I can honestly say that the 1125R is one bike I won't be parting with - ever (Message edited by Dirty_john on April 28, 2010) |

I talked with a friend who is a Buell racer late last year who has done extensive endurance racing on the 1125R. He said there hasn't been had a single engine failure. Another good friend of mine was paid by Buell to do preproduction endurance testing. His exact words were, "I've never really seen one break". Those two guys have put more punishment than 99% of us here ever could. And if THEY haven't seen any major failures..... |

The compassionate thing is to listen, acknowledge and verify. 1 Thess 5:21 "Test everything" I have seen this more than once in the few months I have been here; Court or Blake will make an offer to intercede on someones behalf and they get all defensive. If someone like Court or Blake is willing to speak up on your behalf thank God and say thank you. Almost every known belief system is devoted to the truth. I thought Tbenson seemed sincerely pissed with his bikes troubles. Does sharing frustration make you a troll? Is this the good ship Lollypop where everything is a sweet trip to the candy shop? |

Sharing frustration alone? Nope. When you accompany it with stubbornness, refusing help, can't answer basic questions, posting a story missing critical details, and act like an ass to the owner of the site, you are just asking for trouble. Our patience for people like that has run out, we have no need for them and their attitudes lowering the quality of the posts. I am sure he is pissed about his bike, know I would be in his situation, but the way he is handling it is unacceptable. |

we all fell somewhere on the 'bell curve' at school and the same is true with our lives. If someone does not have enough personal discipline they are suspect? spreading love for a brand starts with respect. Word of mouth is earned. If someone has a bad experience do you amplify it into an even more negative brand experience? Isn't the goal to make people feel like members of the Buell motorcycle family, and like family we all pull together. Give them enough rope and with a little patience they will eventually hang themselves when folks are pleading for an intervention. On the other hand, I have seen at another Buell site where one bad apple did a lot to drive people away. People got tired of the constant pissing about the POS-Lemon X1 and perpetual bragging about his the new liter bike. |

Speaking personally, I just REALLY abhor seeing BadWeB subject to indignant whining, complaining, and hostile commentary directed at Buell motorcycles. BadWeB is a community of Buell enthusiasts, not a self-help venue for coddling the obnoxiosly discontent. |

If you are not a Hater, you are a Lover. at Dictionary.com "Love" #10 on the list 10.strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books. Back to personal discipline, if someone does not measure up to your standard, bang? |

>>> If you are not a Hater, you are a Lover. I don't hate much. I hate dishonesty, malevolence, selfishness, greed (love of money), and the like. I'm very picky about how I use the word "love". I love my girlfriend, God, family, friends, fellow man, truth and freedom. I try to avoid devaluing the word by associating it with material things or activities. All that said I'm certainly flawed, far from imperfect. >>> Back to personal discipline, if someone does not measure up to your standard, bang? We don't shoot (figuratively kill) people here as you imply. We simply show them the door. The Buell Forum on BadWeB is our Buell Enthusiast party; all Buell Enthusiasts are invited. As with most parties, we will absolutely bounce mal-contents out the door. With thousands of active participants and more every day, we simply refuse to waste our valuable free time trying to teach good manners to all the malcontents that rear their head here. I and the other custodians have no time to waste trying to measure the true character of contributors here. That would be a near impossible task. We simply do our best to defend the integrity of the forum according to its stated terms of use. Patience is a virtue, but in excess it can also be a thief that sucks the life from a discussion board. Good people don't come here to read commentary disparaging Buell motorcycles. Buell enthusiasts visit this Buell Forum for thoughtful discussion among their fellow Buell enthusiasts. Good folks come here for help and advice and/or to help and advise others or to just enjoy and share in the enthusiasm for Buell motorcycles and the people and events surrounding them. Anything outside of that as related to Buell motorcycles here is entirely unwelcome. |
